The motto of The Council is “Service beyond Basics”.
The slogan of The Council is “Hygiene: The Icons of Preventive Health*”.

The SRC shall strive and be dedicated to be the mouthpiece for students on campus and offer a common forum for the discussion of students’ predicaments.
It shall ensure the constant flow of information between the school’s management and the student body.
The SRC seeks to promote and ascribe to a culture of academic excellence among the students
The Council promotes the mandate of SOH and protects the good image and reputation of the SRC and the School at large.
The SRC serves as a forum of conciliation for and within a diverse and multicultural student body.
Encourage the engagement of students in the SRC and promote and cultivate links of cooperation and friendship among students nationally and globally.
Support and advance a positive relationship between students, Management, staff members and external stakeholders.
Show leadership and integrity within the ambit of this Constitution and SOH Statutes, Rules and Regulations and be accountable to the General Student Assembly; and Groom students in leadership skills not only to be student leaders but to take up leadership positions in the nation.

The SRC is committed to protect the good image of the School, as a renowned one, while creatively meeting the needs of the students, society and the economy through multiple pathways for excellent education, applied research, innovation and service in collaboration with stakeholders and that of the SRC, knowing well the importance (interest and progress) of a forum for students to organize themselves in all spheres of endeavors for the creation of avenues to enable them channel their energies into productive ventures in an atmosphere free of Social, Cultural, Political and Academic prejudices which may militate against development in the educational sector and the student community as a whole.

The Students Representatives Council; the legitimate voice of the students is currently undertaking several projects

  1. The continuation of the SRC building complex
  2. ⁠The completion of the summer hut projects (with electricity fully installed)
  3. ⁠The mounting of more garden seats on campus

The SRC shall soon be celebrating its 48TH STUDENTS WEEK CELEBRATION (SRC WEEK) and is calling upon sponsors to assist with logistical or donate funds to help make this week-long activities success
